Open Access essentially it refers to publications online and made freely available to copy, use, and distribute. All research articles published in the journal Scientific Transactions in Environment and Technovation are fully open access via the internet, in an easily readable format for research, peer review, or reader usage i.e., free and unlimited access to read, download and share immediately, provided the author(s)/editor(s) are properly attributed. No special permission is required to reuse all or part of article published including figures and tables subject to proper accreditation/citation of authorship. However, the articles run through the same peer review and publishing processes similar to journals and books published under the traditional mode.
We allow open access as it helps support the exchange of knowledge and ideas, favors the exchange of research results amongst scientists from different disciplines, facilitates interdisciplinary research, provides access to research results to researchers worldwide, including those from developing countries, and to an interested general public and is an enriching part of the scholarly communication process, since it has widespread access. Furthermore, the online publication process enables quick review, approval and rapid publication, the free availability maximizing the visibility, and thus the uptake and use of the work published and tracked for impact factors, provides unlimited space for supplementary material including figures, extensive data and video footage, recognition by funders and can comply with open access mandates from funding sources or academic institutions in the fastest and easiest way.
The author(s) or copyright owner(s) irrevocably grant(s) to all users worldwide access of a free, irrevocable, perpetual right, a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit, display and reproduce or disseminate the article in its entirety or in part, to make and distribute derivative works in any format or medium for any responsible purpose provided that no substantive errors are introduced in the process, subject to proper accreditation/citation of authorship, and that the bibliographic details are not changed, and the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use. If the article is reproduced or disseminated in part, this must be clearly and unequivocally acknowledged.
The authors, especially of review articles that may contain figures, tables or text taken from other publications, should inquire with the original copyright holder i.e., the original publisher or authors about the re-usability of the material. Please note that we do not hold the copyright or the right to re-license the published material.
Upon initial publication, a complete version of the work and all supplemental materials, and a copy of the permission, in a suitable standard electronic format are deposited immediately in an online repository that is into bibliographic databases and institutional repositories supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or other well-established organization that enables open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving without any embargo periods.
