Abstract :
Accumulation of 210Po was determined in the muscle and bone of 15 species of fishes collected from the river Cauvery,
South India. The concentration of 210Po in muscle ranged from 5.1 Bq Kg-1 to 12.2 Bq Kg-1 and in bone between 1.1 Bq Kg1
and 5.9 Bq Kg-1.
