Bioassay - Fractiontion Based antibacterial activity studies on the medicinal plants - Ipomoea obscura clerodendrum inerme and Acalypha fructicosa

Abstract :

Invivo antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate extract of Bauhinia tomentosa L.was studied. Ethyl acetate extract of Bauhinia tomentosa L.was administrated orally to evaluate the antioxidant activity in lead induced toxicity. It was evaluated by measuring the changes in the biochemical parameters such as SOD, CAT, GSH, GPx, GR and Vitamin C. Significant increase in antioxidant enzymes were observed, which indicates the antioxidant activity of Bauhinia tomentosa L.
