ZnO nanopowders were synthesized at four different calcination temperatures viz. 200, 300, 400 and 500 °C using an
inexpensive soft chemical method. The effect of calcination temperature on the structural, antibacterial and surface
morphological properties of ZnO nanopowders are studied and reported. The x-ray diffraction studies reveal that the
degree of crystallinity of the nanopowder enhances gradually with the increase in the calcination temperature.
